FixerJi didn’t start by building a platform
A managed home-services venture for Bengaluru — repairs, cleaning and painting with upfront prices, verified professionals and a city ops team. Built on MergeMind Marketplace, so the months usually spent on accounts, payments and payouts went into the service itself.
FixerJi is a venture MergeMind built on its own platform — not a customer.
The public pages are always up. Browsing the live catalog and booking depend on the demo environment, which is not always online.
Customers want a repair done without chasing anyone: a clear base price, a scheduled visit and every update in one place. Professionals want steady local work on their own schedule. The operator in the middle has to match the two quickly — and make sure everyone gets paid correctly.
That is three kinds of users, money that must be taken before the job but paid out only after it, and a matching problem measured in minutes. It is exactly the kind of business that gets quoted as a six-month custom build.
